URB-E Hotel Program Launches 6th Property

The Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco becomes sixth hotel to have URB-E Foldable Electric Scooters available for staff and guests. Joining The Lenox Hotel in Boston, Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica, Solage in Calistoga, W Hotel Austin, and Park Central in Union Square San Francisco, the Argonaut Hotel, located at San Francisco's famous Fisherman's Wharf, now has URB-Es available for guests to use at their leisure. URB-E Foldable Electric Scooters are built by hand out of carbon fiber and aircraft grade aluminum in Pasadena, California. They provide an easy and fun way for hotel guests to explore the area around them, creating exciting experiences that enhance any trip. "Our guests absolutely love the URB-E," shared Drew McQuade, General Manager, The W Hotel Austin. "The convenience and flexibility of the URB-E allowed for a fun and easy to ride transportation option for our guests to get around downtown during their stay. The URB-E team was a pleasure to work with and managed the program safely and effectively, creating a truly unique experience for our hotel guests. I would 100% recommend the URB-E hotel program." URB-E's can go 20 miles on a single charge and are classified as a bicycle, so they can be ridden anywhere a bicycle is allowed. Guests can use the cellphone holder to run Google Maps to navigate them to exciting destinations, from shops, to cafes and restaurants, and everywhere within 20 miles. "At Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows we provide cutting-edge offers that give guests unique ways to experience our destination. URB-E’s do just that!" says Matthew Lehman, General Manager, Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows. "The URB-E is a fun, safe, hassle free and eco-conscious mode of transportation that guests love. We have greatly enjoyed our partnership with URB-E and highly recommend it to others." The URB-E can be folded up and placed in the trunk of a taxi or Uber should a guest ever wish to return to the hotel (for example, it begins raining out). Hotels are provided custom branding on their URB-Es, which creates exciting marketing opportunities throughout the areas they are in. "Known as a global sustainability leader, The Lenox is excited to partner with a maverick of the green lifestyle," said Daniel Donahue, V.P. and Managing Director of The Lenox Hotel in Boston. "For our employees, we’ve been able to reduce transit times while saving a tremendous amount of money on the Ubers we take throughout the city. URB-E is cheaper, faster, and better for the environment; and our guests think they are the coolest!"
