URB-E Employee Spotlight: Tim Patag
Tim Patag was an intern who just recently left for another year of college. Like everyone on the team, he wore multiple hats: from email marketing to attending the front desk, this Accounting student proved incredibly capable in a number of fields. Gone but not forgotten, here's a tribute to someone who will always be a member of the URB-E team, Tim Patag.
How Long Have You Been with URB-E?
I've been here for about 3 and a half months!
Tell us a little bit about what you do at URB-E
I spearhead the email marketing platform that we use. Essentially, I craft the emails to inform people about our product and create an ecosystem for people to receive them. I also do a bit of sales on the side, and you can find me on the chat function on our website quite often.
What's the best part of your job?
I really enjoy selling an URB-E to someone! I know that I'm selling a revolutionary product that has personally saved me so much money and time. Prior to finding out about URB-E, I would wait 30+ minutes for a bus or request an Uber just to go home 2 miles away from the train station. Now, I'm home in 10 minutes and I have a ton of fun during my commute. It's a great feeling when you sell an URB-E to someone as I know that they will have an amazing time having fun riding while also saving time and money daily.
What's your favorite URB-E moment?
My favorite URB-E moment was when I had my first sale! The person I sold to was tired of sitting in traffic every day just to go to work, and he knew that the train was cheaper and more efficient. However, it's a 3 mile commute from his house to the station, and he didn't want to bike or else he'd arrive to work sweaty. He was excited about the idea of something that's portable and powerful, and his reaction to the URB-E was when I realized why URB-E is so helpful for the millions of commuters out there.
What person from history do you think would love an URB-E, and why?
Ferris Bueller would have loved an URB-E. A character like him would have a blast since he could make it to class late but still be silent. And he could weave in all that downtown Chicago traffic with ease. Lastly, seeing Ferris Bueller do his last scene running back home on an URB-E would be sweet.
P.S. I am aware he is not a real person.
What do you enjoy doing when you're not at work?
Outside of work, I can usually be found hanging out with friends at eateries around Los Angeles or at a concert. I go to about one or two concerts a week, so say hello if you spot me in the crowd! I also enjoy spending weekends with family and can be randomly found at a coffee shop reading and relaxing.
Tim may be off in the wild following the conclusion of his internship, but you can come visit the rest of us at 54 W Green Street in Pasadena or give the team a call at today to schedule a test ride or get a tour of the production facility!
